What — and who — we’re made of

Where you'll learn.

Wilderness surrounds Fairbanks, yet highways, airlines, fiber and satellites firmly connect it to the world. So you can attend and earn your degree online from anywhere.

In Fairbanks, you’ll find the Troth Yeddha’ Campus, the UAF Community and Technical College and the Interior òòò½´«Ã½ Campus. Beyond, regional campuses serve Kotzebue, Bethel, Nome and Dillingham. Research sites can take you to Kodiak in the south, Juneau in the east and Toolik Lake above the Arctic Circle.

    Build a garden for native pollinators in Delta Junction workshop

    Get hands-on experience propagating native species and learn how to create a thriving community of nectar-rich native plants in a free in-person workshop in Delta Junction. The workshop is hosted by the University of òòò½´«Ã½ Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service in conjunction with the Salcha-Delta Soil & Water Conservation District and Partners for Progress in Delta.

    Raising chickens in the backyard is a fun hobby and a great way to improve your food security in òòò½´«Ã½. Chicken University is a free class led by Jim Vinyard with the University of òòò½´«Ã½ Fairbanks Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station. He will discuss everything you need to know to start and nurture your flock.
